Sunset Waterfront Home with Private Pool
Welcome to sunny Florida! There is something to be said about a place where you can walk out your back door, around your swimming pool down to the dock, get in your boat and go. Or walk out your front door, hop in your golf cart and hit the beach.
This house screams FUN. If you want the beach, it’s only a seven-minute (0.4 mile) walk away. Not only is it a minutes’ walk from the beach, the coffee shop and fine dining, but golf carts, scooters and e-bikes are legal on the streets and readily available for rent to cruise up and down Gulf Drive from Treasure Island to Clearwater Beach. Or spend the day lounging in your private pool. Have fun playing shuffleboard on the regulation court between the pool and the water. The cove stays calm and is best enjoyed on a kayak or paddleboard. At dusk enjoy the sunset over the water from the backyard while dolphins play in the cove. It’s like a dreamland.
The single-floor ranch home has three bedrooms, two queen suites and a bunk room for the kids. Enough to host two families. A beautiful waterfront view and an open retro vibe. In the morning take the kids for a treat and walk to Cafe de Paris, a Parisian-style Cafe & bakery with sidewalk seating for coffee, quiche, crêpes & various sweet treats. The seating will probably be full, but that’s OK, take your order to go—100 yards away you can enjoy breakfast on the beach!
Beach Waves Grill (10-minute walk next to Cafe de Paris) is a great little dive bar on the beach with $1.50 cold beers and tasty grouper sandwiches. Mike owns the place, his daughter Sam tends bar in the back, his son washes dishes when he wants a new video game. It’s a cool local family-owned feel. If you like Italian, Casa Italia is the closest restaurant to the house (5 minutes). Claudia, the owner will take great care of you. The food is authentic Italian excellent and beach attire is welcome. Indian Rocks Beach isn’t a shoulder-to-shoulder-packed tourist place. It is a laid-back beach town six miles from the fast-paced Pier 60 in Clearwater Beach. You can ride bikes right on the beach, but you don’t need a car, bike or golf cart to go anywhere you want to go, the Suncoast Beach Trolley runs from Clearwater Beach (north) to Pass-A-Grille (south), and stops at specially marked "Trolley Stop" locations along the entire Gulf Blvd. Whatever you’re into, you can find it here. A relaxing day at home in the pool, an adventure on the water, or fun at the beach!
