Greetings from the Owner!
With a lifelong passion for hospitality, I began my career in Boston after graduating from Boston University, working my way through nearly every department before serving as General Manager for boutique inns and a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of what makes a guest experience truly memorable.
What began as managing a small beach rental on Florida’s Gulf Coast quickly grew into Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals—a business built on personal service, attention to detail, and genuine care for every guest. By staying intentionally small, we ensure that each visitor feels welcome, valued, and at home in their “slice of paradise.”

Jonathan Carter - General Manager
Jonathan brings years of experience in customer service and a natural dedication to guest satisfaction. After graduating from UMass Amherst, he built his career around tackling challenges head-on and always going the extra mile to ensure every customer feels valued and cared for.
Since moving to Florida two years ago, Jonathan has found his home along the Gulf Coast and couldn’t be happier managing daily operations at Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals. His hands-on approach, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence make him an essential part of delivering the seamless experiences our guests have come to expect.
